Overview
David is recognised as one of Australia’s foremost restructuring and corporate recovery practitioners with over 25 years experience in this sector. His experience spans a broad range of restructuring, recovery and advisory roles for major financial institutions and other corporations, including: design and facilitation of credit assessment training programs, cashflow and solvency reviews for company boards, turnarounds and workouts, independent business reviews, Voluntary Administrations and Receiverships.

Some of David’s recent major assignments include:
- Lead partner on the Epworth healthcare turnaround, for which David’s team was recognised with the advisory firm “Turnaround of the Year” award by the Turnaround Management Association
- Lead financial advisor to the banking syndicate on the workout of one of Australia’s largest diversified miners, which resulted in full payout to all financiers and the successful continuation of business operations
Receiver and Manager for the major secured creditor to the Timbercorp Primary Infrastructure Fund
- Lead financial advisor to the banking syndicate on the workout of a Tier 1 automotive components supplier with global operations
- Liquidator of the Westpoint group of Mezzanine companies, responsible for administering over $300 million of creditor claims
- Receiver and Manager of listed diversified miner, Western Metals Ltd
- Receiver and Manager of Incat Group, which resulted in a full payout of secured debt and the restructured business being handed back to its directors for continued operations
- Lead partner responsible for the design and roll-out of a major credit assessment training program for over 1500 business bankers at one of Australia’s leading financial institutions.
