Alan has 19 years experience working in the corporate insolvency arena and has over that time developed specialties in rural, property, franchising and small to medium business’. 

Alan is a registered liquidator who works principally for secured creditors and has worked on over 1,000 large and small external administrations including formal appointments such as receiverships, voluntary administrations, liquidations, Deeds of Company Arrangements as well as in an advisory capacity to banks, boards, financiers & other significant stakeholders. 

Some significant appointments include advising the employees’ representative in the National Textiles Limited administration, which ultimately led to the establishment of the General Employee Entitlements & Redundancy (GEER) Scheme and Receiver of one of Australia’s contract harvesters. Other experience includes; Large irrigated cotton growing enterprises, timber growers, numerous other rural based administrations, manufacturing, retailing and multi-franchisees.

Alan’s specialty is procuring returns for stakeholders in all areas of the small to medium non-rural market (property, franchising, manufacturing & retailing industries) and the full range of the rural market. Clients include the ANZ, Australian Integrated Finance, CNH Capital, Nab, Rabobank & Westpac. 

Alan has prepared & presented many training papers to the staff and management of the firms’ secured creditor clients and enjoys doing so.
